Well it is time for the Big Fair Oaks Soccer Festival played in two areas, Cherry Island Soccer Complex and Carnegie Middle school.

Jamba Juice at Sunrise Market Place

The General Manager who's name is Mr.Bell and I were talking about all of the new things that Jamba Juice is doing for the community and they will help your youth soccer teams with fundraising or even sponsorships.

One thing that is interesting is that you could hold team sign ups at his stores and the team will get 20% back in the sales the store makes, that is for having the team sign up at the store...(That is a really good deal)

I would suggest that the local soccer clubs contact Mr. Bell and discuss what Jamba Juice can do for the teams.

College Years are ahead

Well most of you have graduated school this June and you are moving on to different colleges.

Please make sure to stay in touch and send me some soccer pictures so I can post them.

This blog will be here for ya and I will be keeping it updated with games and stuff.

I do hope that you got your packages with all of the LEtters in them. I know all of a sudden they disappeared...SHame if the school let anything happen to them.

Congrats! SJHS going to championship GAME

Well let's see if we can make history 3 years in a row, this will be great for all of the boys who will be graduating this year from the school.

Please come out and SUPPORt the TEAM on 11/15/08 at FOLSOM HS.

Congratulations to the boys soccer team for defeating #1 seeded LeGrand High School by a score of 2 to 1, to advance to the section semi-finals. Playing stellar defense for the Spartans was all-league goalie Gerardo Amezquita. Leading the way for the team by scoring goals were Justin Reyes and Antonio Alberto.

If they win they will play Saturday at noon at Folsom High School. Come on out and support your Spartans in their quest to win a first ever boys section soccer championship!!!

Sunrise United Takes 1st Place inYuba City

Well I can say great job to all of the teams that played in this tournament this past weekend.
However, Congratulations to all of the boys on Sunrise United for taking 1st place in the U-19 Division, it was not an easy victory, the last two teams were there to win and they were also very aggressive to the point that it should not have been allowed, however soon the Center Ref got control of the game back once again.

I am so proud of ALL of the BOYS that came to play as a team and not be a one man team, Sunrise United Came together as a whole team and we are all very proud of them.

Indoor Soccer always fun to watch

Well, I went to my first Indoor soccer game for the season and after my injury on 07/12/08, my sons 17th birthday and as always it was enjoyable to watch the teams play. I just wish it was a bit more comfortable for me to sit now and watch a game, my back injury has really changed my lifestyle.
